THE FIRST DAVID CROSBY SOLO ALBUM
GOES BACK TO VINYL AFTER 30 YEARS

DAVID CROSBY'S "IF I COULD ONLY REMEMBER MY NAME" was the most fun that I ever had in the studio. David's first full-on solo is a wonderful flight of fancy, an artistic masterpiece, a proof that the Muse works in strange and mysterious ways.

It was also made at a place that was briefly GROUND ZERO for much of the San Francisco music scene of the early 70's; WALLY HEIDER RECORDING STUDIO. The record has had an outstanding history of sales and praise over the last 3 decades and has been continiously available in LP, cassette and CD form since the first release in 1971.

The recurring interest in this album has brought about plans for a fresh stereo reissue with the latest conversion technology, a planned DVD and 5.1 surround release, and last but not least, a planned re-release on VINYL by CLASSIC RECORDS.
